Gamesa to supply inverters for 113 MW solar PV project in Caldas

Gamesa Electric, a subsidiary of Siemens Gamesa, has struck an agreement with Elecnor Atersa to provide its Proteus 4300 solar inverters for the 113 MW Portón del Sol solar project in Caldas, Colombia.

The deal comprises 28 Proteus 4300 inverters, which are integrated into 13 PV stations of 8.3 MVA and 2 PV stations of 4.15 MVA, for a total of 116.2 MVA. The equipment incorporates seismic reinforcement, CH4 corrosion protection, and a design temperature of 45ºC to ideally respond to the location's severe conditions.
