Stellantis and DTE Energy have signed a corporate power purchase agreement for the 400 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Michigan, USA. Stellantis' commitment to renewable energy will prevent more than 670,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually.
As part of its Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan, Stellantis announced earlier this year that it aims to achieve carbon net zero globally by 2038, beginning with a 50% reduction in CO2 emissions by the end of the decade.
At present, DTE has more than 800 businesses and over 75,000 home consumers in its MIGreenPower program.
