Stellantis has agreed to acquire a 49.5% stake in 360 Energy Solar through a US$100 million investment.
360 Energy is an Argentine company focused on the development of large-scale photovoltaic solar energy projects. It is one of the leading companies in the country in the solar photovoltaic sector, under the conviction that solar energy is the main vector of the energy transition.
Both companies will together develop new solar plants, install large-scale storage systems, and produce hydrogen energy. The first phase of the project will involve increasing the amount of renewable energy produced at Stellantis' Ferreyra and El Palomar plants, which are fueled by 360 Energy Solar's La Rioja PV facility, in the Argentine provinces of Cordoba and Buenos Aires.
