Pampa Energía has completed the issuance of a green bond worth ARS3.107 billion (US$14 million) to finance a portion of its latest investment, the expansion of the 81 MW Pampa Energía III Wind Farm in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Once the expansion is complete, the wind farm's capacity will increase, making for a total output of 134.2 MW of renewable energy.

The Pampa Energía III Wind Farm is located in the district of Coronel Rosales and currently operates with 14 wind turbines, producing 53.2 MW of energy. The company aims to cater to the private contracts segment of large energy users. The expansion will include the installation of 18 additional wind turbines, which will increase its power output by 81 MW. The project will require an investment of more than US$120 million and is part of the company's commitment to diversify the country's energy generation matrix and its pledge to finance environmentally beneficial projects.

The issuance is part of the company's push towards creating more equitable and cleaner energy resources, which are consistent with the country's climate goals.
