Pampa Energa S.A. has entered into an agreement with the Provincial Government of La Rioja to acquire 100% of the 195 MW Arauco II Wind Farm project located in Arauco, La Rioja Province, Argentina for US$171 million.
Closing of the transaction is subject to customary conditions.
The acquisition of the wind farm marks the beginning of Pampa's development of new renewable energy projects in La Rioja, investments that are crucial for the region and the energy supply of Argentina.
