Sonnedix Italy, a unit of Sonnedix, has released a Notice To Proceed (NTP) for the start of the construction of five solar photovoltaic (PV) projects across Italy with a combined capacity of 50 MW.
The solar PV farms will be constructed across the regions of Lazio and Piemonte. It will be built by TEA TEK and Energy Systems Services (BayWa r.e.) as the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services providers. The projects are expected to enter into commercial operation between Q2 and Q3 of 2023.
Once operational, the solar farms are expected to generate up to 87 GWh of clean energy per year to cater the needs of over 33,000 local homes.
