Sonnedix and Statkraft have signed a 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA) for 22 MWP solar photovoltaic (PV) projects in Italy.
Sonnedix will provide Statkraft with a total of 36 GWh per year of renewable energy for a period of ten years. This is equivalent to avoiding over 10,000 tons of CO2 and supplying sustainable energy to over 13,000 Italian homes.
The solar PV facilities will be built in the center and north of Italy and construction is about to commence. Sonnedix was advised by Our New Energy (ONE) on this transaction.
