EDP Renewables has connected the 44 MW Fulgatore wind project located in the municipality of Trapani, in Sicily, Italy.
The project consists of nine turbines that can generate 83 GWh of energy per year which is enough to power up to 27,680 homes while reducing carbon emissions by approximately 39,000 tons per year.
