Ardian fund acquires 100 MW solar portfolio under development in Sardinia

Ardian has finalized the purchase of a solar photovoltaic (PV) pipeline in Italy through the Ardian Clean Energy Evergreen Fund (ACEEF), a new open-ended fund that was launched by the company in April 2022. This portfolio of three solar PV projects in Sardinia was sold by Atlas and Heron Advisory.

Currently under development with a potential combined capacity of about 100 MW, the portfolio aims to achieve agro-voltaic status by integrating the generation of clean photovoltaic energy with pre-existing agricultural and sheep farming activities.

ACEEF has already taken management of the solar farms, and once all of the relevant authorizations have been secured, the full investment will be made.
