ERG completes acquisition of 33.8 MW Italian solar portfolio from ABN AMRO fund

ERG SpA has completed the acquisition of a 33.8 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) portfolio located in the regions of Puglia, Molise, Lazio and Sardinia in Italy. 

The deal was closed after ERG Solar Holding 2 Srl, a unit of ERG, finalized the takeover deal with MP Solar BV, a Dutch entity owned by ABN AMRO Sustainable Impact Fund PE BV. The transaction has an enterprise value of EUR128 million (US$130.38 million).

The solar portfolio consists of 18 operational PV parks that were put into service in late 2010 or in 2011.
