ERG SpA has contracted Vestas Wind Systems for the supply of turbines for the 101 MW Mineo Militello Vizzini onshore wind farm project located in Sicily, Italy.
The facility will be comprised of twenty-four 136-4.2 MW turbines. The supply agreement with Vestas includes a multi-year Active Output Management (AOM 5000) service agreement.
The project is expected to be operational before the end of 2023.
