Vestas to equip 39 MW wind project in Calabria

PLT engineering S.r.l has signed a 39 MW turbine order for the Borgia onshore wind park to be located in the region of Calabria, Italy.

The order involves the delivery and installation of seven V136-4.2 MW wind turbines and two V117-4.2 MW wind turbines, both delivered in 4.3 MW Power Optimized Mode. The contract also includes a 20-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement for the maintenance of the wind park.

The delivery and commissioning of the turbines are expected by the first half of 2023.
