Blue Elephant Energy (BEE) has completed the acquisition of the 4 MW solar photovoltaic portfolio located in Piedmont in northern Italy.
The project, consisting of six solar farms, has been in operation since 2011. With the closing of the deal, BEE will implement technical optimization measures in the PV plants that will ensure an operating life of another 30 years (so-called revamping).
Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) has advised BEE on the e legal and tax due diligence processes, the drafting, negotiation, and execution of a SPA, and also advised them on legal aspects of the planned revamping and the arrangement of a W&I policy.
