Power purchase agreement signed for 100 MW of solar

Atlas Renewable Energy and Votorantim Cimentos have signed a Brazilian power purchase agreement (PPA) to supply and purchase, respectively, 100MW of solar Project, located in the municipality of Paracatu, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

Atlas' Luiz Carlos Solar Project, situated in Paracatu, Minas Gerais, will be the source of the generated power, boasting an installed capacity of 787 MW. Votorantim Cimentos is set to receive nearly two-thirds of this capacity (470 MW) through a 15-year agreement. The solar energy supplied under this arrangement will cater to the energy requirements of Votorantim Cimentos' plants and distribution centers situated in the southern, southeastern, and midwestern regions of Brazil.
