Smartenergy buys majority stake in solar developer Rewatt

Smartenergy has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Rewatt, a solar development company based in Portugal. 

Rewatt has already been developing self-consumption solar rooftop solutions for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and industrial clients. Smartenergy is an established investor and developer of large-scale renewable energy projects throughout Europe. Together, the two companies will expand Rewatt's clientele to include larger corporate energy consumers.
