Smartenergy has selected the intended site to develop its 100 MW green hydrogen project in the municipality of Onda, Castellon, in Valencia, Spain.
Named 'ORANGE.BAT', the project is currently under the engineering phase with the ongoing environmental permitting process. The hydrogen facility is expected to be operational before the end of 2025.
Smartenergy has presented the project at the European Green Hydrogen Investment Event hosted by EIT InnoEnergy’s European Green Hydrogen Acceleration Center (EGHAC) in Paris.
