Encavis AG and Hive Energy have signed an agreement for the acquisition of a 55 MW ready-to-build (RTB) solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Spain.

Once completed, the solar park planned in Guillena, Andalucia, would generate enough electricity to power around 28,300 houses per year.

Land and grid connections have already been secured for the project, and Encavis plans to begin construction shortly. Ethical Power, a subsidiary of the Hive Group, will develop the solar farm. Hive Energy remains involved in the project until completion.
