Enel Green Power España and Soltec have agreed to construct a solar tracker factory in the warehouses and facilities of a decommissioned thermal power station in Teruel, Aragón, eastern Spain.
The production center will provide approximately 40 permanent jobs. The capacity of the facility was not disclosed.
The partners have collaborated on 4 GW of projects in eight countries since 2014. Soltec manufactures and supplies cost-effective horizontal single-axis solar trackers.
