Smartenergy Invest AG has started the construction of a 63.5 MWp Pessegueiro solar photovoltaic project located in Pinhal Novo, south of the capital Lisbon, Portugal.
The project has a total investment of EUR32 million (US$36.38 million) and is planned to be completed before the end of 2022. Once operational, the project will generate more than 126,000 MWh of renewable energy enough to power about 26,000 homes.
