Siemens Gamesa to supply turbines for 70 MW wind power project in Ljusdal

Siemens Gamesa has been selected to supply wind turbines for OX2's 70 MW Riberget wind project located in the municipality of Ljusdalin, Sweden.

The wind farm will have 11 SG 6.6-170 wind turbines with a hub height of 115 m to make the most of the local wind speeds. With a 35-year service agreement in place, Siemens Gamesa will provide all maintenance services for the wind farm after installation is complete.

The Riberget project is due to be commissioned in late 2024. The wind turbines, once installed, will provide enough electricity to power over 60,000 houses.
