Axpo has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Borealis for the clean energy generated from the 60 MW Hultema wind farm project located in the municipality of Motala in Östergötland, Sweden.
The wind farm is owned by Swiss infrastructure asset manager Reichmuth&Co and is currently under construction. The PPA includes the annual supply of more than 130,000 MWh of wind power to the Borealis production facility in Stenungsund for the next ten years with the delivery set to start in January 2024.
