Everfuel, Karlstads Energi to develop 20 MW hydrogen project in Karlstad

Everfuel A/S and Karlstads Energi have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the development of a 20 MW hydrogen project in Karlstad, Sweden.

The companies intend to explore the commercial and technical feasibility of a 20 MW electrolysis facility as a first phase of the hub development. In the second phase, Everfuel and Karlstads Energi plan to further develop the hub and increase the electrolyser capacity by 100 MW.

The project is anticipated to be operational in 2025, depending on finance and authorization.
