The state-owned company Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has launched a tender inviting interested developers to bid for the construction and operation of a 100 MW floating solar photovoltaic project located in the state of Jharkhand.
The scope of works includes the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of the project, and the operation and maintenance for a period of 10 years. To qualify as an EPC contractor or developer, the bidder must have constructed ground-mounted solar PV projects with at least 50 MW total capacity in the last five years with two of the plants having a minimum of 10 MW individual capacities.
