Indian telecom multinational Bharti Airtel, in partnership with Avaada, has started the commercial operation of its 21 MW solar photovoltaic project located in the Bhuldana district of Maharashtra in India.
The project will supply power to the Nxtra by Airtel’s large and edge data centers, and switching centers in Maharashtra. The PV project can generate enough energy to offset up to 26,000 tonnes of carbon emission per year.
