Avaada Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Industries and Commerce of the State Government of Rajasthan for the development of a hydrogen and ammonia production plant in the Kota District, India.
The company will set up around 6 GW of renewable energy capacity that will be used for the plant. The project will require about US$5 billion of investment. Once operational, the plant will generate up to one million tonnes of hydrogen and green ammonia per year.
