SECI launches RFS for 8 MW waste-to-energy plant in Uttar Pradesh

The Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd. (SECI) has launched a Request for Selection (RFS) for the development of the 8 MW grid-connected waste-to-energy project that will be located in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. 

The project will be designed to accommodate up to 550 tonnes of refused-derived fuel per day. The scope of the work covers the operation and maintenance of the project with plant life of 25 years.
