ThomasLloyd enters deal for full control of SolarArise India

ThomasLloyd Energy Impact Trust PLC has entered into an agreement to acquire the remaining 57% stake it does not own in New Delhi-based solar plant operator SolarArise India Projects Private Ltd.

ThomasLloyd is a London-based Asia-focused renewable energy investment trust that currently owns a 43% stake in SolarArise. The deal is valued at a total of US$38.5 million to be paid in cash.

The closing of the transaction is expected to occur in the coming weeks.
