Renova refuses AES Tiete bid for 400 MW Alto Sertão III wind complex
Renova Energia has rejected the bid proposal to acquire the 400 MW Alto Sertão III wind complex made by local firm AES Tiete Energia SA.
The management of Renova has not provided any specific reason for turning down of AES Tiete's offer.
Light SA and Companhia Energetica Minas Gerais SA (Cemig) are the major shareholders of Renova Energia. The Alto Sertão III wind complex has received several interested companies for the takeover.
