Engie Brasil Energia SA made the 327 MW Campo Largo I wind power project complex go online after the power sector regulator, Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL), gave the go ahead for commissioning the wind farm.
The project is situated in 44,000 hectares, located in municipalities of Umburanas and Sento Se, in the state of Bahia, in Brazil.
The project complex, composed of 11 wind farms in total, will feature 121 wind turbines. In July this year, the 29.7 MW Central Eolica Campo Largo VII wind farm project is the first facility to start operation.
