Renova Energia has received a bid from Farallon Latin America Investimentos Ltd for the 400 MW Alto Sertao III wind complex for an undisclosed value. Light S.A, one of Renova's major shareholders, has released the announcement.

The project involves the installation of a complex of 26 wind farms with a total installed capacity of 400 MW, located across several municipalities in Bahia, a northeastern state of Brazil. The complex contains 155 turbines.

Renova's management is currently evaluating Farallon's bid.

The firm has been looking for an investor in the wind complex after a broken deal with Brookfield Energia Renovavel on May 2018.
