Recurrent Energy LLC has completed the construction and started the commercial operation of a 100 MW Sunflower Solar Station located near Ruleville City in Mississippi, USA.

The Sunflower Solar Station consists of a total of 272,000 photovoltaic modules installed on a single-axis tracking system covering about 1,000 acres of land near Ruleville. The station will be constructed under a Build Transfer Agreement (BTA), which was signed with Entergy Mississippi in 2018 and designates the regulated utility to own the Sunflower solar project when it reaches commercial operation.

In 2021, Recurrent Energy has closed debt financing totaling over US$146 million, inclusive of construction loans and letters of credit commitments. The debt financing was provided by Norddeutsche Landesbank (Nord/LB) and Rabobank.
