Hexagon Energy plans 138 MW Woodridge solar project in Virginia

Hexagon Energy has filed for a development permit with Albemarle County for the construction of a 138 MW Woodridge solar photovoltaic project in Virginia, USA. 

The Woodridge solar farm will be located on about 650 acres of land in the Piedmont region and will be connected to the PJM Interconnection’s network. The project is designed to generate enough power for up to 25,000 homes annually. 

The solar farm is expected to be operational by 2024.
