KEPCO Mangilao Solar has entered into a US$50 million tax equity partnership with Foss & Company for the development of a 60 MW DC photovoltaic solar power plant with a 32 MWh battery energy storage system located in Mangilao, Guam.
KEPCO Mangilao Solar, a subsidiary of Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), has been constructing the project since 2020. The solar farm is expected to be completed and commissioned before the end of 2022.
