Consumers Energy, Ranger Power sign PPAs for 300 MW of solar in Michigan

Consumers Energy has signed two agreements to add 300 MW of clean energy from two solar projects in development in Genesee and Hillsdale counties, Michigan, USA.

The power will be purchased from Confluence Solar in Genesee County and Heartwood Solar in Hillsdale County. Ranger Power, a Chicago-based utility-scale solar development company, is developing and will own and operate both projects with 150 MW capacity each.

The projects are scheduled to begin operating by the end of 2024.
