Qair has been awarded two tenders to develop a 288 MW wind project at a chemical site near the town of Burghausen, in southeastern Germany. The wind farm is set to become the largest wind farm in Bavaria.
In order to secure the development site, Qair has signed a site-securing agreement with the district office and met with district officials and mayors of the seven participating municipalities to discuss their plans and exchange information.
The next phase of the project involves conducting wind measurements and mapping out the site. The technical planning information will then be compiled and submitted for approval to the district office under the Federal Immission Control Act.
