OX2 AB has been selected by Greencoat Renewables Plc to provide full-service asset management for the Erstrask South wind project in Sweden. The agreement includes the long-term provision of technical, commercial and financial management for the 101 MW wind farm, which is equipped with 36 Enercon turbines that have been operational since 2021.
In addition, OX2 will support Greencoat in the future takeover of another wind farm that is currently under construction, and will provide full-scope asset management services once it becomes operational.
The latest contract significantly increases the amount of Enercon wind turbines in OX2's management portfolio, bringing the total to almost 500 MW. OX2 will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of the Erstrask South wind farm, in line with Greencoat's investment objectives. The partnership reinforces Greencoat's commitment to expand its renewable energy portfolio, which currently includes a range of wind and solar assets in Ireland, the UK, and Continental Europe.
