Landinfra Energy has partnered with Taaleri Energia to develop a portfolio of renewable energy projects in Sweden, including 1.1 GW of solar and storage, as well as 800 MW of wind and storage capacity.
Taaleri Energia has acquired a 50% stake in Landinfra's 1.9 GW portfolio, which is primarily located in SE4 and SE3, two of the four bidding areas in the Swedish electricity market. Landinfra will retain the remaining 50% stake. All of the capacity is currently in the development stage, with the first projects expected to be commissioned in 2025. The portfolio will have an investment volume of over EUR1.5 billion (US$1.6 billion) and will feed close to 2.5 TWh of electricity annually into the national grid once fully operational.
Taaleri Energia plans to finance its Landinfra partnership with the proceeds from its SolarWind III renewable energy fund, which closed in November 2022.
