Oman Power and Water Procurement Company (OPWP) has extended again the request for proposal (RFP) for the 1 GW Manah I and II solar photovoltaic project tender.
The new deadline for the submissions of the proposal is at the end of July 2021.
The prequalified bidders for the project are:
- Masdar (UAE)/EDF (France)
- Eni (Italy)/Softbank Energy (Japan)
- Acwa Power (Saudi Arabia)
- Jinko (China)
- Korea Western Power Company/Hanyang Corporation/Solar Reserve/Nafath Renewable Energy (local)
- Marubeni (Japan)
- Power Construction Corporation of China
- TagEnergy (Nigeria)/Al-Shanfari Group (local)
- Total Solar International (France)
OPWP is being advised on the tender by Synergy Consulting, DLA Piper, and Fichtner.
