Acme Solar Holdings Ltd. has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Oman Company for the Development of the Special Economic Zone at Duqm (Tatweer) for the development of a US$2.5 billion green hydrogen and green ammonia production facility in Oman.
This large-scale project aims to produce 2,200 metric tonnes of green ammonia per day using electrolysis powered by renewable energy. The goal is to supply green ammonia to Europe, America, and the Asian regions.
