Sterling and Wilson Solar Limited (SWSL) has commissioned the 25 MW solar photovoltaic project located at a 50-hectare site within Sohar Freezone, Liwa province, Oman.
The project is awarded to Sterling and Wilson Solar Limited by Royal Dutch Shell Plc.
The project is expected to save about 25,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions a year.
