Zelestra has commenced operations at a 54MW (DC) solar plant in Murcia, Spain.

The EUR 35 million (US$ 36.7 million) project in Murcia, financed by BBVA, will see Zelestra supply Shell with 105 GWh of renewable energy annually for a decade. This clean electricity is enough to power over 23,000 Spanish households each year. The project is expected to prevent approximately 34,500 tons of CO2 emissions annually.

Zelestra operates eleven renewable energy plants in Spain with a project portfolio that currently exceeds 5 GW.
