Zelestra has commenced operations at a 54MW (DC) solar plant in Murcia, Spain.
The EUR 35 million (US$ 36.7 million) project in Murcia, financed by BBVA, will see Zelestra supply Shell with 105 GWh of renewable energy annually for a decade. This clean electricity is enough to power over 23,000 Spanish households each year. The project is expected to prevent approximately 34,500 tons of CO2 emissions annually.
