Ingeteam signed a contract with Grenergy to supply photovoltaic inverters for a 250 MW solar project located in the Tabernas desert in Southern Spain.
Specifically, 70 INGECON SUN 3Power C Series inverters will be provided for the renewable energy generation plant, spread over 35 transformer stations, to be delivered as a turnkey solution ready for installation. The supply agreement between the two companies also includes the control system and equipment commissioning.
With a power output of 250 MW, the Tabernas project has an estimated annual generation capacity of 466.6 GWh. Once commissioned, the facility is expected to supply more than 126,300 households with green energy, avoiding the emission of over 127,380 tonnes of CO2 annually.
