Arctech Solar has completed the tracker production and shipment of the 575 MW major tracker components from China for the IBRI II project in Oman, which is invested by ACWA power.
The 500 MW solar farm will be installed at a 1,300-hectare (3,212 acres) site in Dhahirah governorate. The plant's output will be sufficient to supply an estimated 33,000 homes with electricity. It is expected to offset 340,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions a year.
