Naturgy begins construction work at 50 MW Las Jaras de Badajoz solar project in Extremadura

Naturgy Energy Group SA, a Spanish electricity and gas operator, has broken ground on the 50 MW Las Jaras de Badajoz solar PV project in Spain's Extremadura region.

The EUR28 million (US$29.5 million) solar facility, once operational, should be able to generate more than 122.9 GWh per year, enough to power 35,200 houses.
