Portuguese renewables company Greenvolt - Energias Renovaveis SA has completed the acquisition of a 50% stake in Univergy Autoconsumo, a renewable energy company that focuses on the solar industry in Spain.
The deal represents about EUR12 million (US$12.96 million) of investment of Greenvolt. The company has an option to purchase Univergy's entire stake in the future.
Founded in 2019, Univergy Autoconsumo has implemented around 400 projects and currently holds an additional pipeline of 600 MW in 3,500 customers. P
