Greenvolt Group

Company description

Greenvolt Group is a Portugal-origin renewable-energy company founded in 2002 that has grown into a pan-European platform delivering 100% green power through a diversified portfolio of technologies, including sustainable biomass, large-scale wind and solar, battery storage, and distributed generation solutions. Through its subsidiary Greenvolt Power, it develops, builds, and operates utility-scale wind, solar PV and storage projects across several countries, while also offering decentralized energy solutions (on-site / near-site generation) via another arm, Greenvolt Next. In Portugal, Greenvolt is the leading producer of energy from residual forest biomass, turning forestry residues and wood waste into electricity — combining energy production with circular-economy principles. Since its initial public listing on the regulated market of Euronext Lisbon in July 2021, Greenvolt has expanded rapidly through acquisitions and organic growth, repositioning itself from a domestic biomass operator to a major European renewables player with a broad and flexible asset portfolio.
