Greenvolt - Energias Renovaveis SA has secured a deal to install around 11 MWp of solar systems at six sites of Super Bock Group, a beverage company in northern and central Portugal.

The deal was made with the Greenvolt Comunidades unit and includes the installation of approximately 20,000 solar panels. Once operational, the distributed generation (DG) solution will be capable of producing over 16,000 MWh of clean energy annually for Super Bock Group.

The excess electricity from the DG solar projects will be shared with up to 5,900 companies and individuals in the surrounding communities, according to Greenvolt. With this new addition, the company's completed and awarded energy community projects exceed 40 MWp.
