Meralco PowerGen Corp. (MGen) and Vena Energy have started the construction of the 68 MWAC solar project in Currimao, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
In February 2022, MGreen entered into a partnership with Vena Energy for the development, construction, and operation of the solar farm.
The project is scheduled to finish energization by the end of 2022 and begin commercial operations in Q1 2023.
