Matrix Renewables has awarded a construction contract to Global Energy Services (GES) for the development of the 129 MWp solar photovoltaic portfolio that will be located in the Huelva province, Spain.
The solar portfolio is composed of Rocio I, II, and III projects that will be equipped with about 239,250 panels to be installed on 225.43 ha of land in the municipality of Almonte.
GES will be responsible for the design, engineering, the supply of equipment and materials, civil and electrical construction works, commissioning, testing, and energization. The project is expected to generate up to 276 GWh of energy per year.
