LONGi to supply electrolysis equipment for 300 MW solar PV-powered green hydrogen production complex in Xinjiang

LONGi Hydrogen will supply large-scale alkaline electrolysis equipment for Sinopec´s green hydrogen production facility in Kuqa city, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. 

With a total investment of CNY3 billion (US$471 million), this project involves the construction of a new 300 MW photovoltaic power plant and an electrolytic water hydrogen production plant, which will generate 618 million kWh of green electricity and 20,000 tons of green hydrogen per year.

The project is anticipated to be completed and put into operation in June 2023. It will reduce CO₂ emissions by 485,000 tons per year.
